The Automatic Control Group at the University of Salerno is looking for highly motivated MSCA Postdoctoral Fellowship candidates, with a Ph.D. in Robotics (or closely related fields), interested in pursuing cutting‑edge research in a dynamic and stimulating environment.

Research Areas
We have active research projects in the following areas: optimal planning and control of redundant and cooperating robots, force control, haptic teleoperations, human-robot collaboration, AI‑powered and model predictive robot control, software architectures for robot control, and robotic testing of electronic components. Our projects target applications in the industrial, medical, aerospace, sport, and civil construction domains.

The Robotics Lab hosts a range of ROS2‑compatible robotic platforms:

-
- an industry‑representative dual‑arm cooperative workcell with linear slides;




- a teleoperation system with a haptic leader and configurable follower robot (for medical/space applications);
- a mobile manipulator for outdoor operations;
- a wide array of sensors and tools, including stereo cameras, laser scanners, F/T sensors, IMUs, electrical and pneumatic grippers, and 3D printers for rapid prototyping.

Requirements
Applicants must hold a Ph.D. in Robotics or a closely related field and have a research background that aligns closely with one or more of the research areas listed above. Experience in robotics research, modeling, and control is essential. xysqume
