Experteer Overview In this role you actively shape high-quality solid Earth research for Nature Geoscience, contributing to editorial strategy and content planning within the Nature Portfolio. You will manage manuscript handling, peer-review oversight, and editorial decisions, while engaging with the global scientific community. The position offers exposure to commissioning content, editing reviews, and writing editorials, with opportunities to travel, attend conferences, and influence journals across geoscience disciplines. Your work supports the journal's mission to understand Earth's history and future through rigorous publication and cross-journal collaboration. Make reasoned editorial decisions informed by expert advice Contribute to content and strategy for Nature Geoscience and related Nature Portfolio journals Commission and edit content such as Reviews; write editorials Liaise with editors across journals and with the international scientific community Attend conferences and visit research institutions Responsabilità Ph D in Geoscience or equivalent Broad understanding of recent trends and developments in geoscience Excellent English communication, both written and spoken Ability to assess novelty, context and implications across sub-disciplines Willingness to travel and engage with scientists worldwide Editorial experience not required but considered for Senior Editor Interest to learn and breadth of research beyond specialty #J-18808-Ljbffr
