Job Overview:The Constructability Engineer uses best practices and knowledge of internal or external issues to improve the construction execution on site by influencing the Engineering design. They solve complex problems and use their discipline-specific knowledge to improve the construction execution on site. The Constructability Engineer impacts the construction execution ensuring the work can be completed by site teams safely, on time and within work hour budgets while meeting Quality requirements.Key Tasks and Responsibilities:Coordinate with the Completions Manager on discipline activityCoordinate with Site QA/QC Manager on final inspection and punch list, red-line drawings to show as-build conditions; perform engineering activities to develop/complete design; prepare/answer Request for Information and Field Work Order RequestsSupervise the Site Document Management Department and ensure that project personnel adhere to correspondence and filing system guidelinesFacilitate preparation of drawings for special construction equipment, scaffolds, workstations,



and construction aidsArrange for procurement, fabrication, and installation of the required itemsManage Engineering support on the site through the Project Manager at the home officeThere will be specific times that Engineering support will be required on the site to assist in acceptance or checkoutManage all correspondence concerning questions or issues between Engineering and Construction through a Request for Information (RFI) system for document tracking and controlClose out all RFIs and incorporate them into the turnover systems for care and custody of the ClientCapture progress daily in Work Face Planning software from information provided by Foremen/General ForemenAnalyze daily progress and schedule performanceConduct weekly planning meetings with their Superintendents to determine work to be executed in the upcoming three weeksGenerate weekly work plans on an IWP level with General Foremen/Superintende
