Responsibilities
- Contribute significantly to successful project results in technology, software, product, and/or solution development, as well as associated IP.
- Act as the first point of contact in Research and Development for specific product-related issues and maintenance.
- Showcase expertise by identifying, proposing, and implementing innovative solutions.
- Maintain recognized expertise in a specific area by integrating the latest developments in technologies, tools, and methodologies.
- Find new ways of solving problems by creating hypotheses and defining methods to validate them.
- Document work results (findings, designs, or software) to allow others to maintain and improve them.
- Understand and initiate IP generation in your area of specialization and participate in the project IP strategy development.
- Collaborate with RD, Service, Sales Teams, and Customers, supporting Electrification Smart Power globally.
Qualifications
- Highly skilled and passionate in modeling and simulating electrical distribution networks (AC and DC), including Power Converters, Circuit Breakers, Fuses, etc.
- 5+ years of experience in Selectivity Analysis, Load Flow, Transients Analysis, and Optimizations.
- Experience as a Senior Power Systems Architect with Computer-Aided Engineering tools.
- Qualified in MATLAB‐Simulink, PSCAD, PowerFactory, PSSE, EMTP‐ATP, etc.
- Proven experience in Electrical Engineering (Power Electronic Systems).
- Fluent in English communication; Italian language considered a plus.
