ph3Responsibilities /h3 pThe Governance, Controls and Compliance Risk Assessment Office has two primary missions. The Office is responsible for identifying, assessing and managing compliance risk through the implementation of the Bank’s "graduated compliance model", in accordance with applicable national regulations and the Parent Company’s policies. In addition, it performs all activities falling within its remit as the local CPLE/CTL function. /p pReference 26000CBF /p pPositioned as a second line of defense within the Bank’s internal control framework, CPLE/CTL performs regular review and testing of controls and processes related to sanctions compliance risk inherent to SG Group activities. CPLE/CTL tests global compliance with sanctions policies and procedures to assess if sanctions controls are properly designed and operating effectively to mitigate sanctions risks. Following its testing, CPLE/CTL publishes reports outlining its findings and tracks any issues or corrective actions arising from testing. /p h3Main Responsibilities /h3 ul liDefining the annual second‑level control plan. /li liPerforming level 2 permanent controls in accordance with the annual plan and the applicable methodological guidelines, covering SGSS S.p.A.’s activities. /li /ul h3Advisory and Verification Responsibilities /h3 ul liCompliance governance and conflicts of interest. /li liThe modalities for the provision of investment services and the performance of investment activities, limited to those for which SGSS S.p.A. has obtained the relevant authorisations or acknowledgements from the Bank of Italy and which qualify as ancillary to "Securities Services". /li /ul h3Responsibilities during your VIE mission /h3 ul liCollect, review and critically analyse information from different sources, including legal, regulatory and internal procedural documentation. /li liSupport senior team members in the execution and review of second‑level controls and compliance testing activities,



aiming to identify potential non‑compliance issues and control weaknesses. /li liContribute to the day‑to‑day operation of local CPLE governance processes. /li liSupport the application of the Bank’s "graduated compliance model", in line with the role’s scope and the candidate’s level of experience and competencies. /li /ul h3The VIE Assignment in a Nutshell /h3 pThis VIE in Milan is to begin as soon as possible, but you need to plan 3 months between your application date and the beginning of your VIE assignment. It will last 12 months. /p pThe VIE is a specific contract, under Business France’s eligibility criteria, opened to candidates under 28 and from the member states of the European Economic Space. /p h3Studies Experience /h3 ul liMaster’s degree in Economics, Law or a related discipline, with a specific focus on Compliance, Internal Controls, Risk Management or similar fields. /li /ul h3Language Skills /h3 ul liEnglish: Fluent (CEFR level B2–C1). /li liItalian: Elementary (CEFR level A1–A2). /li /ul h3Technical, Operational Soft Skills /h3 ul liGood command of MS Office applications. /li liKnowledge of advanced Excel (e.g., VBA), Microsoft Copilot and other GenAI tools, Power BI or equivalent business intelligence solutions is considered a plus. /li liStrong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to clearly articulate concepts and information to different stakeholders. /li liHigh attention to detail and a rigorous approach to work, ensuring accuracy, consistency and compliance with high‑quality standards. /li liAnalytical mindset and problem‑solving capabilities, with the ability to assess complex situations and identify effective, data‑driven solutions. /li liInquisitive attitude and strong motivation to learn, with a proactive approach to professional development. /li liCollaborative and proactive team player, able to contribute effectively in a structured and multi‑disciplinary environment. /li liHighly adaptable, well‑organised, motivated and able to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously. /li /ul /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
