ph3Job Description: /h3 pDXC Technology Italy is looking for a Senior Public Sector Business Analyst to join the DXC AdvisoryX Offering. /p h3Responsibilities /h3 ul liLead client interviews to identify business issues and define effective solutions. /li liTake end-to-end ownership of functional and process analysis within assigned Public Sector engagements, from requirements gathering to solution validation. /li liDocument and design processes to increase efficiency (decrease lead time, increase throughput, reduce cost, etc.), analyzing and resolving complex process issues. /li liDrive impact within the client's organization by developing and transforming their business and IT strategies. /li liDesign roadmaps describing as-is and to-be customer environments. /li liContribute to proposals, bids, Statements of Work and other deliverables using a concise, professional writing style. /li liShape, prepare and deliver client presentations, workshops and proposals. /li liGuide and mentor junior/mid-level colleagues on analysis and requirements-gathering activities. /li liCoach and support individual clients, focusing on their personal success. /li liIdentify risks and assumptions, shaping program governance, and interface directly with stakeholders to monitor alignment with business needs. /li liContribute to defining and optimizing processes and procedures within the Public Sector practice. /li liTake part in large Digital Transformation engagements with cross-functional teams. /li liContribute to the hiring process through interviews assessing analytical and functional competencies. /li /ul h3We Require /h3 ul liBachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Management Engineering, Statistics or Mathematics. /li liProven experience in Management Consulting, ideally within the Public Sector domain.



/li liAdvanced expertise in business process analysis, functional requirements gathering and business solution design. /li liHands-on experience with common Business Analysis and requirements management tools across waterfall and agile delivery models, such as Microsoft Visio and Enterprise Architect for process modelling and documentation, and Jira, Confluence or Azure DevOps for backlog management, user stories, acceptance criteria and requirements traceability. /li liRelevant Business Analysis certifications are considered a plus, particularly IIBA CBAP/CCBA or PMI Professional in Business Analysis (PMI-PBA), commonly requested or valued in Public Sector digital transformation and requirements-led consulting engagements. /li liBasic knowledge and practical use of AI and Generative AI tools to strengthen Business Analysis activities, including document and data analysis, stakeholder interview preparation, requirements elicitation and refinement, process study, gap analysis, synthesis of findings and preparation of executive-level deliverables, with appropriate human validation and critical review of AI-generated outputs. /li liStrong relational and analytical skills, with a constant focus on goals and results. /li liTeam-working ability, including the capacity to guide and mentor junior/mid-level colleagues. /li liEffective problem-solving skills and operational autonomy in managing priorities across multiple engagements.
