Not applicable /p h3Closing Date /h3 p14/08/2026, 12:00 /p h3Job Advert Description /h3 h3FORENSIC COLLISION INVESTIGATION NETWORK – SCIENCE TECHNICAL SPECIALIST /h3 pWe'relooking for experienced professionals from a scientific, engineering or forensic background who want to help shape the future of forensic collision investigation across England and Wales. We are particularly keen to hear from those with expertise in areas such as: /p ul liForensic video analysis /li liVehicle systems forensics /li liOn-scene forensic collision investigation /li liScene reconstruction and modelling /li liVehicle dynamics, including deceleration testing /li liTerrestrial laser scanning. /li /ul pThe Forensic Collision Investigation Network (FCIN) is a national collaboration hosted by North Wales Police. As a Science Technical Specialist, you will play a key role in developing and delivering the FCIN's scientificprogramme. Working collaboratively with specialists across policing, industryand academia, you will contribute to nationally significant projects, support the development and validation of scientific methods,



and help ensure collision investigation is underpinned by robust science and meets regulatory requirements. /p h3About you /h3 pYou'llbe an experienced scientific,technicalor forensic professional with strong analytical skills and a passion for applying science to solve real-world problems.
