Collaborate with the best As Supplier Quality Engineering - Sourcing Specialist, you will be responsible to manage any quality/technical aspect related to supplier’s delivered products. All activities have tight relationship with other functions, i.e. Engineering, Manufacturing, Logistic and Procurement. Main goal is to continuously improve the supplier’s Quality level, reducing both escaping defects and associated cost of quality, while growing and developing the supply base as per business needs. /ppAs Supplier Quality Engineering - Sourcing Specialist, you will be responsible for: /pulliManage Supplier’s related Non-Conformity Record (NCR) /liliLead the suppliers in the execution of defects root cause analysis (RCA) and support the definition of robust corrective actions (CA) /liliImplement Quality Development Plans for eligible suppliers /liliQualify the suppliers according to Company rules /liliCarry out periodic Audits to verify compliance with company requirements /liliCheck the on-the-job inspections according to the Quality Control Plans /liliSupport the suppliers on Deviation Request (SDR) management /liliSupport cross-functional initiatives to improve Suppliers Quality /li /ulpFuel your passion To be successful in this role, you will: /pulliHave a Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Engineering or equivalent work experience in one or more of the following industrial processes: fabrication and machining (as a minimum), casting and forging /liliPossess technical knowledge of the following areas: welding (SMAW-FCAW, MIG, MAG, TIG), NDTs (VT, PT, MT, RX, UT), basics of metallurgy and metallography, heat treatment (QHT, PWHT)



and CNC machining /liliBe able to read and understand technical drawings and product specifications /liliBe fluent in English and Italian /liliHave PC office software proficiencyH /liliHave a EU Work Permit /li /ulpDesired Characteristics /pulliHave Certifications IWI or CSWIP for welding /liliHave level II certifications for PT, VT, MT as a minimum /liliPossess an attitude to set aggressive targets and change status quo – Change agent, and be committed to meet deadlines and deliver results /liliBe available to travel frequently /liliPossess structured data driven mindset, effective problem-solving abilities and zero-defect quality thinking /liliUnderstand Six Sigma principles /liliPossess good negotiations and facilitation skills /liliHave good communication and presentation skills /liliBe able to learn quickly coping with multiple complex situations on daily basis /liliBE able to work with teams and people from different cultures /liliPossess basic knowledge of BH (Turbomachinery) products /li /ulpWork in a way that works for you /pulliWorking flexible hours - flexing the times when you work in the day to help you fit in everything in and work when you are the most productive. /liliThis role is working with our customers on-site in locations across the world.
