ppRINA is currently recruiting for a bJunior Aerospace System Engineer /b to join our team in bVENEGONO /b within the bOperating Engine /b Division. /ph3Mission /h3pThe role focuses on supporting the design, development, and maintenance of flight simulation system models and advanced flight control systems. This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the highest level of performance, reliability, and safety in our aerospace technologies. /ph3Key Accountabilities /h3h3Design and Development /h3ulliAssist in the development and integration of advanced flight simulation systems and aircraft system models for pilot training and advanced design. /liliSupport the design of flight control systems, including autopilot and stability augmentation systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and safety regulations under the guidance of senior engineers. /liliContribute to the creation of detailed design documents, technical specifications, and system architectures. /li /ulh3Testing and Validation /h3ulliParticipate in the rigorous testing and validation of flight simulators and control systems to ensure performance and reliability. /liliUtilize simulation software and hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) testing methods to validate system functionality under supervision. /liliAnalyze test data and provide initial reports and recommendations for system improvements. /li /ulh3Collaboration /h3ulliWork collaboratively with software engineers, hardware engineers, and other stakeholders to integrate flight systems and simulators with broader aerospace projects. /liliParticipate in design reviews, technical meetings, and project planning sessions. /liliProvide technical support and guidance to team members and stakeholders,
escalating complex issues to more experienced engineers. /li /ulh3Maintenance and Upgrades /h3ulliPerform regular maintenance, troubleshooting, and updates on existing models and control systems. /liliImplement minor upgrades and enhancements to improve system performance and incorporate new technologies. /li liEnsure all systems comply with regulatory standards and industry best practices. /li /ulh3Documentation and Training /h3ulliDevelop comprehensive user manuals, technical documentation, and training materials for flight simulation systems. /liliConduct training sessions for end-users, including pilots and maintenance personnel, on the operation and maintenance of developed flight systems. /li /ulh3Qualifications /h3ulliBasic understanding of flight simulation systems and aircraft flight mechanics. /liliFamiliarity with industry standards and safety regulations. /liliExperience with programming languages such as MATLAB, Simulink, C++, or Python. /liliKnowledge of simulation software and hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) testing methods. /li /ulh3Nice to have /h3ulliBasic undertanding of machine learning models /li liBasic knowledge of Ai python modules (tensorFlow, pyTorch) /li /ulh3Competencies /h3ulliFORESIGHT INSIGHT - Context awareness adopting a systemic perspective and informed decision making.

The gross annual salary range foreseen is between b€30.000 and €35.000 /b and will be finally defined on candidate’s professional experience, qualifications, competencies and overall alignment with the role. In addition, an annual variable compensation component is provided, based on both Company and individual performance objectives in accordance with the current policies and collective agreements.
