We're on the lookout for future innovators to join our RD dynamic department in bTognana, Piove di Sacco (Italy) /b. /p pbWhat will you do in our team? /b /p ul liDesign and modifies drawings and BOMs according to the global documentation system; /li liCollecting, analyzing and interpreting cost and performance data; /li liLeads EMEA projects; /li liParticipates in the design of unit mechanical parts and assembly drawings: improving, updating and revising mechanical drawings as required, participating in the electrical design of HPAC units; /li liCreates and/or corrects BOM structures in ERP; /li liCreates and/or corrects configurator and configuration rules; /li liChecking the completeness of the requested information and the required annexes; /li liChecking the correct structure of the document and its parts; /li liChecking the correctness of the text in terms of its clarity, completeness and correct grammar; /li liChecking and monitoring priority changes and modifications efficiently and in a timely manner; /li liCommunication with submitters and approvers on rejections, ambiguities,



questions and corrections to engineering documentation; /li liCoordinating and tracking corrective change requests; /li liIssuing correct and approved documentation in a timely manner; /li liEntering and completing simple CR requirements; /li liWorking on technical research and/or other technical tasks; /li liPerforms all other activities related to the agreed type of work as directed by the immediate supervisor; /li liAdheres to the procedures, rules and principles of the integrated management system; /li liWorks in accordance with lean manufacturing principles and the 5 S’s; /li liOperates in accordance with ITC international trade rules; /li liContributes to the development and adherence to standards, focusing on the key areas of customer, company culture and continuous improvement system; /li liAs part of the continuous improvement system, makes improvement suggestions in line with company objectives; /li liRespects the principles of environmental protection. /li /ul pbWhat will make you successful? /b /p ul liEducational background in Mechanical Engineering/Mechanical Designer. /li li2 years of experience in manufacturing or engineering. /li liKnowledge of CAD CREO, Solid Edge or Pro Engineer. /li liAbility to read technical documentation. /li liKnowledge of CAD Vaults. /li liKnowledge of product database management systems (Oracle PD + Oracle EBS) /li liEnglish –Good level – Written and spoken. /li /ul pbTime Travel Required /b /p ul li10% /li /ul pThe successful candidate will embrace Vertiv’s Core Principals Behaviors to help execute our Strategic Priorities. /p pbOUR CORE PRINCIPALS /b: Safety. Italy is between 42.000€ to 52.000€ gross per year (based on a full-time working week). Certain roles may be eligible for variable compensation and benefits.
