ph3About The Role /h3pWe are seeking an experienced Data Center Technician for freelance/contract work in Rapallo, Italy. This is an on-site position supporting mission-critical infrastructure at premier data center facilities. /ph3Compensation /h3p€20-28/hr (EUR hourly) /ppRates vary based on experience level and project complexity. Emergency and after-hours work may qualify for premium rates. /ph3Engagement Type /h3ulliContract/Freelance basis /liliFlexible scheduling available /liliProject-based or ongoing support /liliRemote hands and smart hands services /li /ulh3Key Responsibilities /h3ulliPerform hardware installations, decommissions, and migrations /liliExecute structured cabling (copper and fiber optic) /liliConduct server racking, stacking,



and labeling /liliPerform cross-connects and patch panel work /liliTroubleshoot connectivity and hardware issues /liliDocument all work with photos and detailed notes /liliCoordinate with remote NOC and client teams /lili2+ years data center or IT infrastructure experience /liliStrong cabling skills (Cat5e/6/6a, single-mode/multi-mode fiber) /liliExperience with server hardware (Dell, HP, Supermicro) /liliAbility to lift 50+ lbs and work in raised floor environments /liliOwn transportation and ability to work on-site /liliProfessional communication skills in English /liliData center certifications (CDCP, CDCS, or similar) - preferred /liliNetwork certifications (CCNA, CompTIA Network+) - preferred /liliExperience with DCIM and ticketing systems - preferred /liliFamiliarity with major colocation providers - preferred /liliStandard tools: screwdrivers, cable testers, label makers, fiber inspection equipment /li /ul /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
