ppThe Compliance Engineer will collaborate with senior engineers, product management, quality, and test validation teams to contribute to all phases of development and delivery of security and safety products. /ph3Responsibilities /h3ulliApply knowledge of mandatory and voluntary certification schemes. /liliPlan and complete certification processes for mechanical and electronic security products. /liliPrepare test reports and supervise testing progress and periodic audits. /liliSuggest product features to achieve required certifications. /liliInterface with local and international certification bodies. /liliManage information flow with certification bodies. /liliDevelop engineering specifications by translating international standards into technical requirements. /liliTrack and update periodical changes to international standards and regulations.
/liliParticipate in international working groups for standard development (mechanical or electronics). /liliSupport new product development and sustain existing products. /li /ulh3Qualifications /h3ulliBachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electronic, or related engineering (e.g., electromechanical, mechatronics). /liliFluent in English. /liliKnowledge of ISO9001 and optionally ISO17025 quality systems. /liliStrong teamwork, problem‑solving, and methodological skills. /liliBroad technical culture to work with both electronic and mechanical standards. /liliFlexibility, curiosity, and willingness to engage in diverse tasks. /li /ulpAllegion is an equal opportunity and affirmative action employer.
