In 2020, Ambienta became IIGCC member and in 2023, as one of very few asset managers, continued being a positive role model for the industry by committing to the Science-Based Targets initiative (SBTi). /p h3Your Role and Responsibilities: /h3 pYou will join the cross-functional Sustainability Strategy (SS) team. This internal consulting group plays a crucial role in supporting the firm’s investments across all asset classes and countries to deliver above-average market returns. The team collaborates closely with all investment teams to achieve these objectives. /p pIn your role, you will support senior team members by analysing industry trends and environmental issues, as well as assessing business cases and investment opportunities across various sectors influenced by these environmental trends. You will work under the guidance of a senior team member, allowing you to effectively contribute while enhancing your expertise in sustainability and investment strategy.



/p pYour main task will be: /p ul liTo conduct analysis to build, update, and maintain Ambienta’s knowledge on environmental trends and industrial sectors. Develop insights on the impact of environmental trends on value chains, identifying successful business models and their competitive advantages /li liTo assist senior SS team members and investment professionals in analysing investment opportunities. The main objectives are: to drive the generation of investment ideas, engage with target companies, enhance due diligence for effective investment selection, and provide support throughout the investment lifecycle as needed. This work is primarily focused on the phases leading up to the final investment decision /li liTo prepare Environmental Impact Analyses for companies and targets across asset classes (Private and Public), applying impact methodologies to ensure consistency. This involves collecting data from target and portfolio companies, analysing results using new and existing models, and preparing reports for investors /li liTo contribute to the preparation of reports and presentations for various stakeholders’ engagement activities within the firm. This includes creating presentations for new investment ideas, internal knowledge meetings, investor relations, the development of new financial products, and other general purposes /li /ul h3Your Skills /h3 ul liOutstanding academic background from Engineering Universities or other STEM disciplines /li li1-3 years of experience within a major professional services organization/consulting firm or within the strategy/BD/MA department of relevant industry players /li liFamiliarity with a specific industrial sector (e.g., Industrial Machinery, Waste management, Chemicals, etc.) /li liInterest in environmental topics /li liA proactive attitude and the ability to work in a team /li liThe ability to manage multiple streams of activities and meet deadlines /li liLanguages: fluent in English and Italian; other languages will be considered a plus /li /ul h3Location /h3 pMilan Office as a starting location /p /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
