Experteer Overview

In this Senior Forward Deployed Engineer role, you will own end-to-end delivery of agentic AI solutions for Salesforce’s strategic customers. You will work closely with Deployment Strategists to translate customer challenges into deployable AI systems and shape engineering standards for scalable production. You’ll lead architecture decisions, mentor engineers, and drive adoption of best‑in‑class AI tools. This role sits at the intersection of product, engineering, and customer outcomes, offering meaningful impact at scale. You’ll be at the forefront of Agentforce, enabling enterprise AI transformations and shaping the roadmap with field insights.

- Own end-to-end build and deployment of agentic AI solutions from architecture to production handoff
- Design and ship agentic systems on the Agentforce platform (agent logic, tool calls, multi-agent orchestration, guardrails)
- Manage data lifecycle across Salesforce Data 360, Snowflake, Databricks and customer platforms
- Resolve blockers in data integration, model deployment, orchestration, and performance
- Build and maintain agent performance dashboards and KPI reporting
- Develop proofs-of-concept and MVPs with prioritization of critical decisions
- Codify learnings into reusable assets and playbooks for the org
- Mentor engineers through code reviews and paired sessions
- Provide technical depth on critical deployments and surface field insights to Product and Engineering




- Partner with Deployment Strategist to translate customer challenges into agentic solutions
- Advocate for continuous innovation by piloting new AI tools and models
- Travel ~25% to work embedded with customer engineers
- Communicate clearly with engineers, customer architects, and executives
- Contribute to Agentforce roadmap with field insights

Responsabilità

- 6+ years of software engineering or technical delivery in enterprise AI/cloud/SaaS environments
- Degree in Computer Science or related field
- Proficiency in at least one of Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, or Apex
- Experience integrating LLMs into production and using LangChain or LlamaIndex
- Deep experience in data modeling, processing, and analytics with platforms like Salesforce Data 360, Snowflake, or Databricks
- Strong Salesforce platform expertise: Agentforce, Apex, LWC, Flows, and Salesforce APIs
- Entrepreneurial, fast-delivery mindset with judgment to avoid haste when inappropriate
- Mentored technical talent and created reusable assets
- Clear, credible communication with peers, architects, and executives
- Curiosity about evolving AI/data landscape and willingness to pilot new tools
- Willingness to travel ~25%
- Business-level proficiency in Italian and English
- Nice-to-haves: Salesforce certifications, DevOps/CI-CD familiarity, multi-cloud experience, open-source contributions
