That means we’re continually investing heavily into RD for new services and solutions while proactively assessing what the industry needs today and tomorrow. /p h3About The Role /h3 pArea Iberia, Italy Malta is part of DNV Maritime, Region West Europe. /p pThe Area includes all maritime business activities and consists of ~60 employees in 11 locations. /p h3The Area Operates With Two Service Lines /h3 ul liNewbuilding and Certification-Verification of materials and components (NBCMC) /li liFleet in Service (FiS) organised as part of business Unit FiS West Europe. /li /ul pWe are looking for a Surveyor of materials and components to join our NBCMC team in Italy, reporting to the local Line Management. /p pOur customers require a wide range of certification activities: from materials and welding procedures to pressure vessels, pumps, compressors, gears, thrusters, electrical installations, automation systems, lifting appliances,



complex offshore packages. /p pClassification of big and complex ships, from design phase to final delivery, is part of our service portfolio. /p pFrom this traditional background, we started a journey covering also advanced future technology: fuel cells, new types of turbines, advanced electrical drives, and lithium batteries for ship propulsion, to name a few. /p pWe aim to be the front runner in innovation, digitalization, and customer centricity. /p pBased on this ambition, new ways of working are continuously assessed and implemented for various disciplines. /p pRecent examples are electronic certificates, remote inspections, additive manufacturing, sensor-based maintenance, alternative fuels, autonomous ships. /p pCustomer needs and carbon footprint reduction are key priorities in our activities. /p h3Main Responsibilities /h3 ul liManaging our clients together with other relevant parts of our organization. /li liConduct all activities in a safe manner with due regard to your own safety and the safety of others. /li liPerform certification and verification of materials and components at the various Manufacturers in Italy, under class and non-class related regimes and associated processes. /li liBe occasionally part of DNV team(s) surveying our newbuilding project(s) in the country (e.g. Ancona, Marghera VE, Monfalcone GO, Palermo) and in Region Europe, at relevant project phases. /li /ul h3What we offer /h3 ul liWork with a highly engaged team in an environment where trust and teamwork are core values. /li liBe part of an innovative environment due to technological developments,
