We are the technical architecture authority behind the sensor-to-decision pipelines the federal government depends on. /p h3The problem you'll solve /h3 pSensor systems, autonomous towers, and C2 platforms are only as good as their uptime in the field. When a ground sensor, radar, or edge-compute node fails at a forward operating location or a border site, someone has to be there to diagnose it, fix it, and get the system back into the fight fast, and without compromising the mission. As our Field Service Engineer, you are the face of PDMS on-site, ensuring the mission systems we integrate run reliably, securely, and at peak performance where it matters most. /p h3What you'll own /h3 ul liInstall, configure, and optimize hardware, software, and network-connected sensor and C2 systems at customer and field sites /li liPerform routine and complex maintenance, calibration, and repair of deployed sensor, radar,
and edge-compute equipment /li liDiagnose performance issues in the field and recommend solutions that improve system reliability and mission uptime /li liProvide customer training and technical guidance to operators and field personnel to enhance proper equipment use and preventative care /li liRespond proactively to potential issues to minimize downtime and unplanned mission interruptions /li liServe as a technical resource for colleagues and government customers, occasionally mentoring other field engineers /li liSupport high-volume and forward-deployed sites with on-site calibration, maintenance, and sustainment services /li liEnsure professional, timely communication and a strong customer service experience with government stakeholders /li /ul h3What you'll need /h3 ul liBachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field; Associate degree with equivalent experience also considered /li liMinimum 5 years of related experience troubleshooting, calibration, or repair experience, ideally with sensor, radar, or C4ISR systems /li liStrong analytical and troubleshooting abilities in complex, distributed system environments /li liAbility to work independently and within a team environment, often at remote or forward deployed sites /li liProfessional written and verbal communication skills for customer-facing technical support /li liExperience servicing sensor, radar, or analytical/laboratory-grade instrumentation preferred /li liProficiency with spreadsheet and word-processing software for field reporting and documentation /li /ul h3Our values /h3 h3Mission First /h3 p- every decision measured against mission impact. /p h3Operational Credibility /h3 p- we earn trust through execution, not brochures. /p h3Technical Integrity /h3 p- we integrate what works, not what sells. /p h3Why FIELD ENGINEERS choose PDMS /h3 pAt most primes, Field Service Engineers are stuck servicing legacy hardware nobody's updated in a decade.
