ppThe Subsidiary Account Manager (SAM) is an important client-facing role focused on managing and growing Citi's relationships with the local subsidiaries of our multinational clients. Based in-country, the SAM is responsible for deepening wallet penetration, driving revenue growth, and ensuring the seamless delivery of Citi's products and services within the local market. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the local operating environment and a strong track record of managing corporate client relationships. /ppThe Subsidiary Account Manager (SAM) is a client facing banker responsible for managing and growing Citi's relationships with the local subsidiaries of our multinational clients Global Network Banking team. The overall objective is to deepen wallet penetration, drive revenue growth, and ensure the seamless delivery of Citi's products and services within the local market. /ph3Responsibilities /h3h3Relationship Management /h3ulliBuild and nurture trusted advisor relationships independently with key contacts at the client's local subsidiary through valuable insights and high-quality engagement. /liliDevelop a comprehensive understanding of the local entity's business model, strategy, and financial wallet to identify and pursue opportunities. /liliMaintain a strong and consistent calling intensity to ensure proactive and responsive client coverage within the country. /liliIndependently develop and execute comprehensive account plans that align with both local subsidiary needs and global parent company objectives /liliStrong focus in origination and execution of top revenue wallet opportunities /liliLeads through influence, thought leadership, and a drive to execution /liliMentor junior bankers in understanding client needs and identifying business opportunities /li /ulh3In-Country Origination Coverage /h3ulliDrive in-country wallet share growth for a portfolio of key subsidiary clients, maximizing Citi's penetration in the local market.



/liliLead with solutions tailored to the local market, leveraging country and sector insights while aligning with the client's global parent strategy. /liliManage the local client pipeline effectively and collaborate with in-country Product Specialists to deliver banking solutions. /liliTake ownership of revenue targets for an assigned portfolio with accountability for achieving and exceeding annual revenue goals /li /ulh3Local Strategy Credit /h3ulliDemonstrate advanced credit acumen and lead discussions with clients and internal stakeholders, articulating risk-return trade-offs and recommending appropriate risk mitigation strategies /liliAlign account activities with local and global strategic initiatives, including country or product-specific campaigns, wallet sizing, and corridor plays. /liliContribute to the development of local market strategy and product development initiatives. /liliAssist in escalations from the Client Manager /liliLead cross-functional teams to deliver complex, multi-product solutions, coordinating efforts across Product, Credit, Legal, Compliance, and Operations /liliInfluence senior stakeholders across the organization to secure resources, approvals, and support for strategic initiatives /liliIdentify emerging trends and client needs, working with Product teams to develop solutions /li /ulpAppropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws,
