ph3Role Overview /h3 /brpThe Installation Survey Engineer is responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivering survey activities that support the engineering and installation of submarine cable projects. /brThe role covers the full survey lifecycle, from scope definition and subcontractor management through to data review, reporting, and project close-out. /brThis position also contributes to route engineering, installation support, technical software development, and knowledge sharing within the Engineering Department. /brThe successful candidate will work closely with internal stakeholders, survey subcontractors, and project teams to ensure that survey deliverables are completed to the required quality, schedule, and budget. /p /brh3Key Responsibilities /h3 /brul /brliDefine and develop the survey scope of work in line with project requirements /li /brliManage survey subcontractors throughout the full survey lifecycle, including engineering, operational planning, mobilisation, offshore execution, on-site supervision when required, reporting, and charting /li /brliMonitor survey quality, progress, and costs to ensure alignment with project objectives /li /brliSupport cable route design and detailed engineering related to cable installation and protection /li /brliReview, manage, and organize survey documentation and data for submission to the Employer or final Client /li /brliContribute to the overall performance and results of the Engineering Department through close cooperation with colleagues and stakeholders /li /brliPrepare and maintain forward planning of survey activities, including schedules, workload, and resource coordination /li /brliEvaluate survey subcontractor tenders and support the selection of the most technically suitable and commercially effective solution /li /brliSupport the management and development of engineering software and digital tools, including AutoCAD, ArcGIS, GIS Online,



and other relevant platforms /li /brliContribute to engineering activities during project execution, including data analysis, route engineering, burial assessment studies, selection of suitable burial tools, and evaluation of burial tool performance based on track records and/or numerical analysis /li /brliMaintain up-to-date knowledge of survey methods, equipment, software, and industry best practices /li /brliOrganise workshops and targeted training sessions to strengthen survey knowledge and awareness across Company personnel, particularly Installation technicians /li /brliSupport the Innovation team in developing innovative solutions and verify test and in field experience/test /li /br /ul /brh3Candidate Profile /h3 /brul /brliYou are the right fit for this role if you have: /li /brliFluent English, both written and spoken; additional languages are considered an advantage /li /brliA master’s degree in civil engineering, Environmental Engineering, Geology, or a related discipline /li /brliA solid understanding of energy infrastructure and/or offshore environments /li /brliBasic knowledge of geophysical survey tools and survey methodologies /li /brliProficiency in GIS software, which is considered essential for the role /li /brliStrong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across multidisciplinary teams /li /brliSound decision-making ability, critical thinking, and strong problem-solving skills /li /brliA collaborative,
