Experteer Overview

In this role you will lead the Cusago site operations, ensuring safe, compliant, and efficient warehousing, blending, filling, and production activities. You will drive site performance and continuous improvement while coaching the local team. You will partner with Supply Chain and regulators to uphold safety, quality, and environmental standards. This is a hands‑on leadership position at a key chemical distribution site with a strong focus on SEVESO compliance and operational excellence.

Retribuzione / Benefits

- Lead and manage all site operations, including warehousing, bulk storage, blending, filling, and production activities
- Act as employer's delegate for Safety and Environmental matters and SEVESO compliance at site level
- Ensure compliance with Safety, Environment, Quality, Sustainability, and SEVESO regulations and Univar policies
- Own site performance, KPIs, cost control, budgeting, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Optimize stock levels, inbound/outbound flows, and collaboration with Supply Chain and Transport
- Lead CAPEX proposals and implementation based on safety, environmental, and operational needs
- Develop and coach the site team to high engagement and capability growth




- Interface with authorities and regulatory bodies during inspections and audits
- Manage dangerous goods, waste operations, UTF products, and major accident risk prevention
- Oversee training plans, safety drills, emergency response, and audits with EHS/Quality teams
- Drive improvements in quality, safety, environmental performance, and sustainability

Responsabilità

- Bachelor's degree in Operations or Logistics Management; preference for technical/scientific fields such as Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum 5 years' experience in site/plant/warehouse/operations management in chemical or regulated environments
- Knowledge of Italian safety, environmental, and SEVESO regulations is a plus
- Proven leadership experience managing teams in complex operational environments
- Experience with SAP and operational reporting tools
- Fluent Italian and good English
- Strong analytical-thinking, problem-solving, decision-making, communication, and stakeholder management skills
