You will be part of a team that designs, engineers, integrates, operates, and maintains electronic security services inclusive of intrusion detection, access control, biometric authentication, video surveillance, audio‑visual, IT systems, perimeter defense, and command‑and‑control systems for federal, local, and commercial customers across high‑growth markets. /p h3Why Join Us? /h3 pOur people are passionate about engineering innovation that improves lives and drives impactful change. Dean handbook and policies. /li liParticipate in quality reviews of M.C. Dean design documentation, analyzing and interpreting drawing packages to evaluate constructability. /li liTrack project metrics and participate in weekly resource‑allocation meetings. /li liVerify correct charges on timesheets for projects. /li liExecute installation and maintenance activities within planned durations, ensuring completion of detailed documentation. /li liTrack and inventory tools, conduct tool inspections, and organize material ordering and receiving. /li liConduct daily ORM meetings, ensure team compliance with safety requirements, and complete accident/incident reporting. /li liParticipate in PITCO plan creation and build‑out, executing PITCO plans to ensure high‑quality testing and installation. /li liInstall system raceway, cabling, equipment racks, enclosures, and panels, adhering to industry standards. /li liTerminate, test, and configure electronic devices, networks, and IT equipment. /li liManage base switch configurations, participate in configuration of servers and workstations, and troubleshoot programmable components.
/li liEnsure compliance with established QC plans and checklists, conducting quality‑control inspections and documenting findings. /li liInstall and maintain field devices, terminate and test system components, and troubleshoot copper and fiber‑optic issues. /li liLead commissioning efforts, track commissioning activities, and assist in representing M.C. Dean in meetings with owners and design teams. /li liCommunicate consistently with M.C. Dean project teams, other trades, and customers, demonstrating dedication and collaboration. /li liLead by example, provide constructive feedback, mentor crew members, and encourage strategic thinking and innovation. /li liDemonstrate strong communication, interpersonal, and time‑management skills, aligning with M.C. This position may require ongoing or intermittent use of a company vehicle. Selected candidates must possess an acceptable driving record in accordance with our policy. /li /ul h3Education /h3 ul liHS diploma or GED is required. /li liGraduation from an accredited Electronics Technician program or /li liGraduation from an Electrical Apprenticeship program. /li liAdditional three (3) years of electronics installation and/or maintenance activities. /li /ul h3Required Progressive Experience /h3 ul li6+ years of electronics installation and/or maintenance activities on multiple systems and with multiple customer programs. /li liStrong oral, written and presentation skills. /li liDemonstrated background working with multidisciplinary teams. /li liDemonstrated time‑management and organization skills to meet deadlines and quality objectives.

Candidates must demonstrate physical strength and stamina to perform various tasks, including but not limited to, loading, unloading, operating equipment, and assisting in the transportation of various materials. Proper lifting techniques and safety protocols must be followed to ensure personal and team safety. /li liRelocate a 12‑foot stepladder without assistance. /li liWork at various heights up to 60 feet and can climb and maintain balance on scaffolds, aerial lifts, catwalks, and all types of ladders. /li liWalk, climb, lift, squat, crawl, kneel, push, pull and reach overhead on a routine and repetitive basis. /li liPossess good vision (may be corrected vision), the ability to see in color, and the ability to hear and communicate in English. /li liMay use a standard ladder without exceeding the weight limit while carrying tools. /li liTell when something is wrong or is likely to go wrong.
