ph3Summary /h3 pYou will serve as a PROGRAM ANALYST in the Resources Requirements (N8), Directorate, Policy Strategy and Resources Division of COMMANDER US NAVAL FORCES EUROPE Naples, Italy. /p h3Duties /h3 pHelp /p ul liYou will develop strategic performance measurement data to address the linkage between strategic measures and operational requirements. /li liYou will advise senior leaders in the implementation of policies relating to international equities. /li liYou will advise on international engagement factors as they relate to requirements determination, validation, and prioritization. /li liYou will brief managers on study findings or recommendations. /li liYou will develop narrative data to justify a more productive use of resources. /li /ul h3Requirements /h3 pHelp /p ul liMust be a US Citizen. /li liMust be determined suitable for federal employment. /li liMust participate in the direct deposit pay program. /li liNew employees to the Department of the Navy will be required to successfully pass the E-Verify employment verification check. You will be subject to and must be able to satisfy the overseas requirements of the 26Jul12 DODI V1230: /li liThis position may require travel to places within and outside the contiguous United States which could include remote or isolated sites. For example: A person who holds both Italian and U.S. citizenship may not be employed in the U.S. Civilian Component in Italy; however, that person is not prohibited by the NATO Status of Forces Agreement from employment in the U.S. civilian Component in another NATO host nation of which (s)he does not hold citizenship. /p h3WORK ENVIRONMENT /h3 pThe office setting will be located at NSA Naples, Italy. As mission requirements dictate, the incumbent will also be assigned temporary duty within, as well as, outside the continental United States. Member may deploy onboard a Command Flagship or other US Naval vessel. Most work is performed in an open office setting or conference room which can be noisy with multiple distractions. Overtime assignments may be required due to the complexity and sensitivity of a task. Periodic travel is required. /p h3PHYSICAL DEMANDS /h3 pThe work is primarily sedentary, although some slight physical effort may be required. The incumbent can anticipate varying degrees of mental strains and physical stress due to short deadlines and the need to develop and brief, as well as revise programs, plans, schedules, and budgets in response to unanticipated actions, to include but not limited to reprogramming decisions at higher management levels to address emergent requirements.
