Founded in 2004, EST manages six strategic terminals throughout Sicily, including the Maritime Terminal of Augusta, the largest multipurpose container hub on the island by volume and a crucial hub in the Mediterranean for global trade. /p /brh3Position Description /h3 /brpTo strengthen our technical team at Augusta Container Terminal, we are looking for a Specialized Reefer Container Technician (Reefer Technician) to join our existing technical squad.br/We are not looking for an isolated technician, but a person who will strengthen an already structured team of electromechanical maintenance technicians and port operators. The resource will collaborate in the complete management of the reefer fleet within the team: his priority is to ensure, together with colleagues, the cold chain, the availability of containers and the correct storage of the goods.br/You will work side by side with the vehicle maintenance technicians and with the yard operations team, sharing shifts, availability and know-how. The ability to perform, in a team logic and mutual support, the first electromechanical diagnostic intervention on port handling vehicles (reach stackers, port cranes, fifth wheels, port tractors, forklifts) is also required. /p /brh3Main Responsibilities /h3 /brul /brliManagement, monitoring and temperature control remotely and in the yard (Reefer Monitoring System), in coordination with the shift operations squad.

/li /brliExecution of full PTI (Pre-Trip Inspection) according to Carrier, Thermo King, Daikin, Star Cool procedures. /li /brliAdvanced fault diagnosis on compressors, electronic boards/microprocessors, refrigerants R134a/R452A, heaters, fans, sensors. /li /brliScheduled, extraordinary and 24/7 emergency maintenance on reefer containers and genset units, in rotation with the team. /li /brliGas charging, brazing, replacement of refrigeration circuit components. /li /brliRecording of interventions on TOS / maintenance management program and reporting for client / shipping line. /li /brliManagement of reefer spare parts and compliance with F-Gas regulations. /li /brliFirst intervention and troubleshooting on electrical/electronic/electromechanical systems of yard equipment, supporting the equipment maintenance team. /li /brliActive collaboration, accurate shift handovers and knowledge sharing within the technical team. /li /br /ul /brh3Minimum Requirements /h3 /brul /brliHigh school technical diploma in Electrical / Electronic / Mechatronics / Refrigeration. /li /brliF-Gas Refrigeration License - MANDATORY. /li /brliAt least 3 years of proven experience on reefer containers in terminals,

depots or marine service. /li /brliIn-depth knowledge of brands: Carrier, Thermo King, Daikin. /li /brliReading of electrical and refrigeration diagrams, use of manifold gauges, leak detectors, testers. /li /brliAvailability for work at height. /li /brliAvailability for shift work (including nights), holidays and on-call duty. /li /brliPrecision, detail-orientation, problem-solving and strong team-working attitude. /li /br /ul /brh3Preferential Qualifications /h3 /brul /brliPES/PAV/PEI Electrical Safety Certification (CEI 11-27) - Qualification for electrical work. /li /brliWorking at Height Certification. /li /brliBasic knowledge of automation logic and PLC interaction. /li /brliDriving license C and forklift license. /li /brliBasic technical English. /li /br /ul /brh3Work Location Contract /h3 /brpLocation: Augusta, Sicily, Italy - Augusta Container Terminalbr/Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent.
