testing and deployment using middleware systems (i.e. using integration tools and deployment of jar on containers) /liliUnderstanding the technical non-functional requirements and translating them into an API design /liliAPI documentation using ACG standard tools /liliLeverage secure API standards to provide the appropriate level of security /liliSupport dev, testing and production APIs /liliUse and promote common development tools and practices within the team /liliGeneral support of fully integrated, highly available production integration environments /liliAnalysis of information systems processes, monitoring of key performance metrics and creation of standard performance dashboards/reports /liliAs a senior team member, enhance the Integration team accomplishments and competence by answering technical and procedural questions, teaching improved processes and providing mentorship for less experienced team members /liliConduct design and code reviews to ensure consistent adherence to standards and to make recommendations where necessary /liliDelivery of high-quality documentation as required /liliEffective communication with teammates, business stakeholders and other technology teams /liliWork effectively as part of a distributed team within agile delivery frameworks /li /ul h3Qualifications: /h3 ulliA minimum of 6-8 years’ experience designing, documenting, developing, testing, deploying and maintaining Web APIs using Java/Spring. /liliSolid knowledge of integration design patterns, and ability to properly document the design /liliExperience working in Windows or Linux environments /liliExperience with common development tools and practices (e.g. Visual Studio, IntelliJ, JUnit, GitHub, Jenkins) /liliExperience with transforming messages (i.e. XML to REST JSON) /liliExperience with developing and designing high performance APIs /liliExperience with documenting interfaces (i.e. swagger, interface control documents, nonfunctional requirements such as volumetric) /liliWorking knowledge of RESTful software design practices. /liliWorking knowledge in RESTful API design and Architecture /liliExperience with message transformation,



orchestration and batch /liliExperience with API performance management tools /liliExperience working in Agile (e.g. Scrum, Kanban, XP) environments /liliAbility to perform basic database development and query (i.e. SQL) /liliGood understanding of CICD architecture and its pipeline models. /liliGood understanding of CICD tools /liliShould have good understanding of any logging and monitoring tools and its integration (ex. Splunk, IRIS, DataDog, etc.) /liliKnowledge on TDD, secure coding practices /liliDemonstrated reliability, professionalism, and accountability in a professional work environment /liliExcellent written and verbal communication skills /li /ul h3Bonus qualifications: /h3 ulliExperience with API Gateway tools such as Datapower would be an asset /liliExperience with API transformation and orchestration tools would be an asset (Talend or Kafka or Tibco) /liliUnderstanding microservice architectural approach in designing of distributed systems /liliExperience with JavaScript or Python /liliExperience with relational or NoSQL databases (e.g. Oracle, SQL Server, MongoDB) and in-memory caching solutions (e.g. Redis, Pivotal Cloud Cache) /liliExperience with Pivotal Cloud Foundry (PCF) and related data management services (e.g. MongoDB, MySQL, PostgreSQL) /liliPrior Experience with containers such as PCF and Docker would be an asset /liliPrior experience in migration/modernization project is an asset /li /ul pAllstate Canada Group has policies and practices that provide workplace accommodations.
