ph3Experteer Overview /h3pIn this role within CMRE, you will manage end‑to‑end procurement for complex technical needs, including components, IT infrastructure, and high‑value services. You’ll work closely with researchers and engineers to translate requirements into procurement specifications and ensure value for money under NATO rules. You will lead contracting activities, from negotiations to closeout, while monitoring supplier performance. This is an international, technically focused environment where your procurement expertise supports mission‑critical maritime science and security objectives. /ph3Benefits /h3ulliSource and procure complex technical goods, equipment and IT services with timely, cost‑effective delivery /liliNegotiate and sign contracts within delegated authority and manage contracts from negotiation to closeout /liliLead end‑to‑end procurement processes: RFPs, RFQs, IFBs and tender processes for complex requirements /liliEvaluate supplier offers on technical, quality, price and delivery terms /liliCollaborate with researchers,



engineers and programme managers to translate requirements into specifications /liliConduct market research on industry trends and potential supply chain disruptions /liliAssist Branch Head in negotiating contracts and framework agreements for value for money /liliMonitor and document supplier performance (quality, on‑time delivery, compliance) and ensure procurement compliance with NATO rules /li /ulh3Responsibilities /h3ulli4+ years post‑related procurement experience with public procurement rules /liliHands‑on experience with contract solicitations, negotiations, awards and closeout /liliExperience in technical, scientific, engineering, IT hardware/software procurement is preferred /liliUnderstanding of public procurement best practices and contract law /liliAbility to work under minimum supervision and under pressure /liliEnglish language proficiency (written and spoken) with additional NATO language knowledge desirable /liliCertification from a recognized procurement/contracting body (e.g., CIPS Level 2, DAWIA) /li /ulh3Fundamental Requirements /h3ullisalary and allowances /liliannual leave /liliex‑patriate package (where eligible) /liliopportunity to work onboard Centre ships /liliexposure to international/multinational environment /lilicareer development in NATO context /li /ul /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
