Senior Data Scientist | AI & Advanced Analytics | Milan

We're partnering with a global technology business that's investing heavily in AI and advanced analytics to build products that solve complex risk and resilience challenges.

They're looking for an experienced Senior Data Scientist to play a key role in defining data science strategy, developing production‐ready machine learning solutions, and helping shape the future of an AI‐powered platform used by organisations worldwide.

The Role

You'll work across product, engineering and analytics teams to build scalable machine learning solutions and influence technical direction across the business.

Key responsibilities include

- Designing and deploying machine learning models into production
- Extracting insights from large, complex datasets to drive product decisions
- Defining data science best practices, model validation and performance monitoring
- Partnering with cross‐functional teams to deliver AI‐driven features
- Contributing to the long‐term data science roadmap and technical strategy




- Exploring and implementing emerging AI and Generative AI technologies

About You

You'll ideally have:

- Several years' commercial experience in Data Science or Machine Learning
- Strong Python skills with libraries such as Pandas , NumPy and the wider ML ecosystem
- Experience working with large‐scale datasets and production ML models
- Exposure to Data Engineering or MLOps environments
- Confidence working with stakeholders across technical and non‐technical teams
- A degree (or equivalent experience) in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics or a related discipline

Premio Points

- Experience with LLMs or Generative AI
- Cloud platform experience (AWS, Azure or GCP)
- Familiarity with modern software engineering practices and CI/CD
