ppAs Manufacturing Engineer, you drive operational excellence in the plant’s assembly area through process improvements, automation, and continuous improvement initiatives. You collaborate with engineering, quality, supply chain, and other functions to support new product introductions and process changes while upholding safety and quality standards. You explore innovative ideas to improve processes, reduce costs, and enhance quality, and you may support lifecycle and change-qualification activities for successful product launches. This role offers cross-functional impact in a global manufacturing setting with exposure to automation upgrades and troubleshooting. /pulliSupport the plant assembly department to achieve safety, quality, delivery, and productivity targets /liliCollaborate with cross-functional teams to introduce new products and implement process changes in manufacturing /liliSupport the implementation of quality systems within the workshop /liliExplore new ideas and technologies to improve processes, quality, and costs /liliBack up Product Lifecycle Management activities, including APD and CQP methodologies,
for product launches and quality compliance /liliCollaborate with Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, Planning, Sales, and Production across plant departments /liliSupport machine revamping and continuous improvement projects across the plant /liliSupport diagnostic activities, troubleshooting, and minor PLC program modifications on manufacturing equipment and automation systems /liliCollaborate with external suppliers and technical partners for complex troubleshooting, upgrades, and CI initiatives /liliTravel: Up to 10% if required /liliUniversity degree in Automation Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering with Industrial Automation specialization /liliBasic knowledge of electrical engineering principles with ability to read schematics and drawings /liliBasic knowledge of Siemens automation platforms (SIMATIC S7 PLCs, TIA Portal) /liliBasic understanding of industrial automation systems, sensors, actuators, drives, and industrial networks /liliGood English proficiency (written and spoken) /li /ul /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
