The role is responsible for establishing the target‑state data architecture, modeling standards, and technology patterns that enable the ingestion, transformation, storage, and enrichment of data. This ensures that CNH’s data foundation is scalable, performant, trusted, and AI‑ready, while remaining aligned with Enterprise Architecture, Security, and the broader Data AI strategy. /ph3Key Responsibilities /h3ulliDefine the target-state data architecture and roadmap (conceptual, logical and physical data models) for the enterprise data landscape, maintaining current and target state blueprints. /liliSet standards, reference architectures and design guidelines for data ingestion, modeling, storage and consumption on the Databricks Lakehouse,
to be adopted by delivery and engineering teams. /liliArchitect scalable, reusable and automated data pipelines (batch streaming) and promote a data products operating model with strong DataOps practices. /liliDesign data structures that are AI- and analytics‑ready, enabling BI, advanced analytics, ML and GenAI use cases (feature engineering, vector/semantic layers, RAG‑ready data) leveraging the Databricks ecosystem. /liliApply data governance and data quality principles within the architecture, partnering with the dedicated Data Governance function (which owns governance strategy) to ensure compliant, well‑modeled and well‑cataloged data, leveraging Unity Catalog for cataloging, lineage and access management. /liliEnsure security, privacy and compliance by design (GDPR, data classification, access control). /liliPartner with business and IT leaders to translate business needs into architectural decisions and to maximize the value of CNH’s information assets. /liliProvide technical leadership and architectural assurance across programs and external delivery partners. /li /ulh3Experience Required /h3h3General /h3ulliBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or equivalent experience. /liliMinimum 7+ years in data architecture / data engineering / data modeling roles. /liliAvailable for occasional business travel. /li /ulh3Functional /h3ulliStrong business-domain, information and process understanding; ability to relate architectural decisions to business value. /liliMastery of data modeling and data architecture patterns (dimensional, data vault, medallion/Lakehouse). /liliSolution evaluation and comparison; reference-architecture design. /liliWorking knowledge of data governance and data quality principles (the role applies them and collaborates with the Data Governance function, but does not own governance).
/li /ulh3Technical /h3ulliDatabricks Lakehouse (core requirement): Apache Spark, Delta Lake, Unity Catalog, Workflows/Jobs, Delta Live Tables, MLflow. /liliCloud: Azure (Azure Data Lake Storage; Databricks on Azure); AWS knowledge a plus. /liliData integration movement: ETL/ELT, CDC, batch streaming (e.g. Structured Streaming, Kafka/Event Hubs). /liliStorage modeling: Lakehouse / medallion architecture, Data Warehouse, dimensional data-vault modeling. /liliSQL plus solid Python/Spark; awareness of AI/GenAI data enablement (vector search, semantic layers, feature stores). /li /ulh3Methodology /h3ulliAgile / SAFe, DevOps DataOps delivery practices. /li /ulh3Behavior Attitude /h3ulliEffective communication and stakeholder influence across all organizational levels. /liliStrong analytical, problem‑solving and quantitative skills. /liliStrategic thinking balancing long and short term perspectives. /liliIntellectual curiosity, learning agility and a technology-oriented mindset. /li /ulh3Nice to have /h3ulliCertifications such as Databricks Data Engineer Professional / Lakehouse, Azure Data Engineer/Solutions Architect. /li /ulh3Pay Transparency /h3pThe annual salary for this role is EUR €60,000.00 - €92,000.00 plus any applicable bonus (Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as skill, experience and qualification for the role.) /ppFor roles open across multiple locations, the salary range indicated refers to the primary location.
