We are seeking a skilled Backup & Storage Administrator to provide Level 2 operational support for enterprise backup and storage environments. The successful candidate will be responsible for incident resolution, change management, system maintenance, and ensuring the availability and performance of backup and storage infrastructure through the ITSM ticketing platform (Remedy).

Key Responsibilities: Provide Level 2 Incident and Change Management support for backup and storage infrastructure.

Manage support requests through the ITSM ticketing platform (Remedy).

Install, configure, maintain, upgrade, and troubleshoot backup and storage solutions.

Monitor system health, performance, and capacity across storage and backup environments.

Perform storage provisioning, SAN zoning, LUN mapping, and NAS configuration.

Troubleshoot infrastructure issues using both GUI and CLI tools.

Participate in change implementation, maintenance activities, and root cause analysis.

Collaborate with cross-functional infrastructure and operations teams to ensure service availability.

Participate in the scheduled on-call rotation to provide after-hours support.

Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server and Linux operating systems.

Solid understanding of Storage Area Networks (SAN), including:

SAN zoning

LUN mapping

NAS protocols (SMB, NFS)

Hands-on experience with Commvault Backup, including:

Installation

Configuration

Administration

Maintenance

Upgrades

Troubleshooting

Experience administering the listed storage platforms using both GUI and CLI.

Good knowledge of Brocade Fabric OS (FOS) CLI.

Preferred Qualifications: Experience with the following technologies is considered an advantage: VMware (vCenter, ESXi, vCloud)

Kubernetes

AWS

Microsoft Azure

Database platforms such as

Microsoft SQL Server

MySQL

PostgreSQL

MongoDB Certifications (Preferred): The following certifications are considered a plus: Commvault

Working Hours: Standard Shift: 8-hour shift scheduled between 08:00 and 20:00.

On-Call Support: Weekly on-call rotation from 20:00 to 08:00 on weekdays.

Participation in the on-call rotation is mandatory.
