Sales Area Manager

We are looking for dynamic and results-driven Area Sales Managers to lead business development activities within the assigned territory (available territories: North America; OR Turkey; OR Germany, Austria and Switzerland). The successful candidates will be responsible for implementing effective sales strategies, managing key customer relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and - where applicable - coordinating a sales team to achieve and exceed company targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute sales plans to achieve or exceed commercial objectives.
- Manage and strengthen relationships with existing customers, ensuring a high level of client satisfaction.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities and potential customers.
- Monitor market trends and industry developments to adapt sales strategies accordingly.
- Collaborate with internal departments (Marketing, Customer Service, Logistics, etc.)
to ensure an excellent customer experience.
- Prepare regular sales reports and territory performance analyses.
- Attend trade shows, industry events, and customer meetings.
- Recruit, expand, coordinate, train, and motivate a network of distributors, agents, or local sales representatives.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Area Sales Manager or in a similar commercial role.
- Previous experience or knowledge of the relevant industry is considered a strong advantage.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills.
- Strong results-oriented mindset and ability to work toward targets.
- Availability to travel frequently within the assigned area.
- Proficient in IT tools and software (CRM systems, Excel, etc.).
- Excellent command of English (North America); English and German (Germany/Austria/Switzerland); English and Turkish (Turkey). Additional languages will be considered a plus.
What We Offer
- €55,000–€65,000 gross per year, depending on experience.
