We are looking for a Buyer to join our team based in Fidenza. The Buyer will be responsible to handle the purchasing activities in compliance with company procedures. Main responsibilities will include processing purchase orders, tracking orders, creating and mainteining adequate inventory levels and liaising with inventory teams and manufacturing to minimize stock out and supply chain risks. The buyer will work closely with other departments to support the needs of the business and make purchase decisions based on demand and production schedule. **Duties**: - Process purchase orders and follow up deliveries
- Source for new potential suppliers and negotiate rates
- Monitor inventories and ensure they are kept at appropriate levels
- Maintain and update supplier vendor list
- Work towards department KPI’s
- Work closely with Planning, Manufacturing, Warehouse, Quality, R&D;, Regulatory as required
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Trouble shot all issues that may occur at any stage of the procurement process **Education Degree**: - Bachelor's Degree in Engineering Management or Economics- High School Diploma or GED**Required Experience**:
Minimum of 2 to 3 years working experience, preferably in Procurement, Supply Chain or Operations (experience in medical device sector would be considered a plus) **Competencies**: - Good English written and spoken
- Proactivity, critical thinking, problem solving skills
- Positive and resilient attitude
- Team work approach
- Good IT skills (Microsoft Office suite)
- Knowledge of Gamma would be a plus **Additional Information**:
