Salary : €60,000 - €78,000 gross per year (depending on experience)

We are recruiting a Senior Electronics AIT Engineer on behalf of a fast-growing international space technology company developing next-generation Earth observation satellite systems.

The company operates in the space and defense sector, delivering advanced satellite-based intelligence and monitoring capabilities to institutional and commercial customers worldwide. Its technologies support applications related to security, surveillance, environmental monitoring, maritime awareness, disaster response, and critical infrastructure protection.

With an international team and rapidly expanding manufacturing operations, the company is scaling the production of advanced satellite platforms and is looking for experienced engineers to support this growth.

About the Role

As a Senior Electronics AIT Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring the successful integration of satellite electronics and power systems from design through production.

Working at the interface between engineering and manufacturing, you will own the integration readiness of critical electrical subsystems, helping ensure they can be assembled, tested, and manufactured reliably at scale. You will collaborate closely with design engineers, production teams, and quality functions while supporting continuous improvements across satellite production.

This role combines hands-on engineering, technical problem solving, production support, and process development within a fast-paced, high-reliability environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Own the integration readiness of satellite electronics and power subsystems.
- Support the assembly, integration, verification, and testing of complex electronic systems.
- Develop and continuously improve integration procedures, test documentation, and troubleshooting guides.
- Investigate production issues,



perform root cause analysis, and drive corrective actions.
- Collaborate with design engineering teams to improve manufacturability and testability of new designs.
- Act as the technical interface between engineering and production during satellite integration.
- Support production readiness reviews and engineering change implementation.
- Train and mentor production technicians on electronics integration processes.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to increase manufacturing efficiency and product reliability.

Requirements

Required

- Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Several years of experience in electronics integration, assembly, testing, or manufacturing engineering within complex hardware environments.
- Strong understanding of power electronics, battery systems, power distribution, and electrical integration.
- Experience troubleshooting complex electronic systems using laboratory equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, and power supplies.
- Ability to interpret electrical schematics and technical documentation.
- Experience writing technical procedures and supporting production environments.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills in English.

Nice to Have

- Experience within aerospace, space, defence, or other high-reliability industries.
- Knowledge of cleanroom or ESD-controlled manufacturing environments.
- Experience with production readiness reviews and engineering change management.
- Familiarity with Python or scripting for test automation.
- Experience using engineering tools such as Jira.
