**Walks Inside Rome** is a tour operator with over three decades of experience offering unique and unforgettable experiences with a focus on Rome, as well as Florence, Venice, and the Amalfi. We seek a passionate, energetic, and experienced bookings agent for a full-time position in our dynamic Rome headquarters. **What will your daily responsibilities be?**
- Corresponding with agents and clients to manage bookings
- Responding to specific requests and tailoring tours and itineraries accordingly
- Liaising with guides, drivers, and other personnel in the organization of tours and services
- Quickly and effectively responding to any major disruption including creating alternative itineraries and defining alternative options for clients
- Data entry (updating availability, entering bookings, and making changes to pre-existing bookings to our in-house booking platform) **What we’re looking for**: - Excellent written and verbal communication in English and Italian. Another language (Spanish, French, Portuguese, etc.) would be advantageous
- At least 2 years prior experience in bookings and destination management preferred
- Strong working knowledge of the Microsoft / Google Drive suite
- Ability and willingness to adapt to and learn new online platforms easily
- Experience of booking platforms (training will be provided upon commencement)
- Strong listening, relationship building, communication (both spoken and written), and presentation skills
- Strong analytical and negotiating skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Well-organized with good time management skills
- Positive “can do” attitude with a passion for travel, tourism, and customer care
- Ability to work weekends and holidays on rota Pay: €1,300.00 - €1,500.00 per month **Experience**: - either bookings management or tourism: 3 years (preferred) **Language**: - English (required)
