**Role purpose**:
**Key accountabilities and decision ownership**: - Technical Leadership: - Oversee the technical design, development, and implementation of iOS features and functionalities.
- Mentor and guide a team of iOS developers, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
- Project Management: - Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to define project requirements and timelines.
- Manage project deliverables, ensuring they meet quality standards and deadlines.
- Identify and mitigate technical risks, proactively addressing challenges to ensure project success.
- Code Quality: - Establish and enforce coding standards and best practices to maintain code quality and consistency.
- Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
- Implement automated testing and continuous integration to ensure code reliability.
- Collaboration: - Work closely with cross-functional teams, including backend engineers, designers, and quality assurance specialists.
- Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment, encouraging open communication and knowledge sharing. **Required competencies, knowledge, and experience**:



- Strong proficiency in Swift and Objective-C programming languages.
- In-depth knowledge of iOS development frameworks, including UIKit, Core Data, and Core Animation.
- Experience with iOS design patterns and architectural approaches (e.g., MVVM, VIPER).
- Proven track record of leading and mentoring iOS development teams.
- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with agile development methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban). **Nice to have technical and professional qualifications**: - Experience with mobile app performance optimization and testing.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS).
