In this role you drive a portfolio of Research & Technology programs at Baker Hughes, delivering on time, within budget, and with high quality to sustain technological leadership. You will collaborate with technology leaders, engineers, universities, and industry partners to accelerate innovation and maturation of emerging technologies. This role blends strong program management with a passion for engineering excellence and continuous improvement. You’ll operate in a dynamic,-cross functional environment and influence senior decision‑makers with robust roadmaps and metrics.

- Manage a portfolio of R&T; programs ensuring objectives, milestones, and outcomes are met on time and within budget
- Develop and maintain program plans, monitor progress, assess risks, and resolve delivery issues
- Coordinate technical reviews, gate reviews, and governance meetings across program lifecycles
- Improve program management processes, tools, and best practices; promote ideation and organizational learning
- Coordinate external partnerships with universities, research institutes, startups, and technology providers; support procurement and contracting
- Collaborate with Portfolio Leaders, Technology Leaders, and Business Development to manage deviations and prioritize resources
- Conduct portfolio analyses to inform prioritization and decision‑making; support long‑term technology roadmaps
- Manage budgets, cost tracking, forecasting,
and resource planning; maintain documentation and dashboards for leadership reporting
- Prepare and present program status, achievements, risks, and metrics to senior leadership
- Execute operational tasks related to the portfolio and R&T; resource management
Responsabilità
- Master's Degree in Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, or related field
- 10+ years in technical/engineering environments; at least 5 years in project or program management
- Proven ability to drive initiatives and deliver results
- Strong knowledge of program management methodologies and tools (Microsoft Project, Primavera, SharePoint)
- Experience managing budgets, schedules, risks, and cross‑functional programs
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills; ability to influence senior leadership
- Strong presentation skills; effective communication of technical and portfolio information
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
- Ability to work in a hybrid, global, and culturally diverse environment
- Passion for innovation and continuous learning
- Fluent English (written and spoken)
