Experteer Overview
In this role you drive quality across ABB’s electronics-focused product portfolio, from development to series production. You will act as the reference point for Quality Planning activities and collaborate with R&D;, Lab, Engineering, Manufacturing, and suppliers to meet ABB standards and customer expectations. You’ll apply your knowledge of electronic components, PCB assemblies, and related processes to ensure quality excellence. The position offers cross-functional impact in a globally-focused, hybrid environment with a clear path to contribute to ABB’s energy management innovations.
Retribuzione / Benefits
- Lead Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) activities for new products and changes, ensuring milestones are met
- Define and manage Control Plans, FMEAs (Design and Process), and quality documentation
- Ensure supplier adherence to quality requirements for Brand Label projects
- Support Design Reviews and Engineering Change Management from a quality perspective
- Manage non-conformity issues and lead RCA using DMAIC
- Lead quality operations for a product family with process and product improvements in production
- Interface with customers and suppliers on quality planning, audits, and reviews
Responsabilità
- Bachelor in Electrical/Electronic/Automation Engineering
- 2–3 years in similar roles (advantageous)
- Strong understanding of electronics, PCB assemblies, and related manufacturing processes
- Good English proficiency (written and spoken)
- Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
- Proactive, problem-solving mindset, and results-oriented
- Ability to work in international teams
