**Job Description Summary**: At Avio Aero, a GE Aviation Business unit, we’ve been reimagining the power of flight for more than 100 years. We are specialized in the design, production and maintenance of components and systems for both the civil and military aviation. Reporting to the Rivalta Housing Material Planning Leader, you will manage the material demand planning for the assigned area by ensuring development of a demand forecast to the supplier base on production planning. **Essential Responsibilities**
- Manage planning, material processes and systems to secure delivery upon productions needs
- Ensure operational alignment with production plan
- Optimize MRP parameters to secure correct delivery and monitor impact on Inventory
- Develop support metrics, tools and reporting that will enable Manufacturing plants and Procurement teams to achieve these service level and inventory targets
- Work closely with Procurement, Quality, and Logistics; to evaluate the demand/production plan against inventory, capacity and external factors and to create mitigation actions if needed trough CI escalation process **Qualifications/Requirements**
- Bachelor's or Master's Degreee in Engineering/Economics field
- Habit of dealing with suppliers or customers
- Knowledge of inventory management, material management
- Aviation industry experience preferred
- Good SAP and Exc knowledge
- Work Visa in accordance with local regulation is required
- Fluent English and Italian **Desired Characteristics**
- Previous experience in manufacturing engineering,



planning or sourcing linked to the shop
