Project Controlling Specialist
ROLE PURPOSE The Project Controlling Specialist supports the industrial workstreams of the Value Creation Program (VCP), driving the identification, validation, coordination, and monitoring of manufacturing, footprint optimization, productivity, and operational excellence initiatives.
The role is focused on ensuring the successful delivery of cost savings and sustainable performance improvements across the organization.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Initiative Pipeline Management
- Support the identification, evaluation, and prioritization of industrial improvement initiatives.
- Review and challenge key assumptions to ensure business cases are robust, realistic, and properly documented.
- Partner with Plant Managers and Finance teams to validate financial benefits and expected savings.
- Assess technical feasibility, implementation requirements, and execution timelines.
Program Execution & Coordination
- Coordinate and monitor the implementation of VCP initiatives, ensuring alignment across stakeholders.
- Facilitate workshops, problem-solving sessions, and continuous improvement activities to accelerate execution.
- Identify risks, dependencies, and potential roadblocks, supporting mitigation actions when needed.
Operational Performance Monitoring
- Track operational and productivity KPIs, highlighting performance gaps, bottlenecks, capacity constraints, and cost drivers.
- Measure and report initiative progress ,
ensuring transparency on savings realization and operational impact.
- Collaborate with Finance to reconcile reported benefits and validate achieved results.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with Purchasing, Engineering, Quality, Operations, and other key functions to ensure effective initiative delivery.
- Support initiative owners in managing interdependencies and maintaining an accurate and up-to-date VCP roadmap.
- Foster alignment between site-level activities and overall program objectives.
REQUIRED SKILLS
- 5-8 years of experience in manufacturing / industrial operations environments, gained in Financial / Controlling roles.
- Strong understanding of productivity improvement levers, operational excellence, and cost optimization initiatives.
- Proven ability to analyze performance data and translate insights into actionable recommendations.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across functions and plant organizations.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
OFFER
- Salary range: from €45.000 to €50.000 , that will be defined depending on the level of adherence of the candidate to the job requirements
- Collective Agreement: In accordance with the provisions of the Specific Collective Labour Agreement (CCSL – CNEL code: CO10), and in particular with regard to the classification within the third professional area.
