Experteer Overview

In this role you will design, deploy, and manage PKI and cryptographic services that underpin Generali's enterprise platforms. You will work closely with IT, DevOps, and application teams to embed certificate and crypto controls across environments. You will lead secure key management, HSM operations, and certificate lifecycle in a regulated, cloud‑influenced landscape. This role offers impact across governance, compliance, and the security of mission‑critical systems. Join a collaborative team driving cloud‑enabled digitization and trust across the Group.

Retribuzione / Benefits

- Design, deploy, and manage PKI services including root and subordinate CAs
- Oversee certificate lifecycle: issuance, renewal, revocation, and automation
- Administer Hardware Security Modules (HSMs) and secure key storage
- Manage cryptographic solutions: symmetric/asymmetric encryption, signing, hashing
- Collaborate with IT, DevOps, and app teams to integrate crypto services
- Define and monitor compliance with internal standards and regulatory requirements (DORA, eIDAS, NIST, ISO 27001)




- Support audits with documentation and SME input
- Troubleshoot PKI and cryptographic issues across environments
- Evaluate emerging cryptographic technologies and standards
- Develop automation scripts/workflows to streamline PKI and certificate management

Responsabilità

- Bachelor in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Proven PKI design, deployment, and operations in enterprise environments
- Hands‑on in digital certificates management (SSL/TLS, client auth, code signing, device certs)
- Experience with HSM administration and key management best practices
- Strong cryptography knowledge (RSA, ECC, AES, SHA, TLS, key exchange)
- Scripting/automation experience (PowerShell, Python, Bash) for certificate lifecycle
- Understanding of security frameworks and compliance standards (DORA, NIST, ISO, PCI DSS, eIDAS)
- Strong troubleshooting and collaborative skills
- Excellent communication
