We are looking for a Thermal Engineering CANDIDATES THAT WOULD IMPRESS US PROFILE: You graduated with a Master of Engineering or Computer Science in University

You have significant experience in hardware development and more specifically thermal engineering

You are a true team-player and love to work within a multidisciplinary environment

You are clear about the organisation goals and the strategies you are working for, demonstrating an actual customer-oriented mindset

You are very rigorous and analytical, logically examining the steps taken and the outcome to make corrections and produce better results

COMPETENCIES: You have a strong technical background in mathematics, science, and computer science, with a great knowledge of thermal laws, norms and standards

You master Thermal technology and associated control components (HP, MLIs, radiators, coatings, thermal interface materials and passive EEE parts such as heaters and thermistors), tools, methods and processes:

Ansys Icepak, Ansys fluent, Mentor Flotherm

Thermal models, Junction temperature, thermal resistance, electronics cooling

Thermal tests: Temperature, Humidity, Salt fog, Pressure tests

You have great problem-solving and decision-making skills, which makes you able to approach complex issues with curiosity and determination





You have the ability to multitask so you can handle several projects simultaneously and still meet the deadline LIFE AS A THALES THERMAL ENGINEERING ROLE As a Thermal Engineering Role within Thales, you will: Perform a subset of all the hardware engineering activities applicable to Thermal Engineering

Analyse and define the thermal needs whatever the used means (e.g. advanced studies, simulations, mock-ups, models, prototypes, …)

Describe the thermal functions and requirements

Formalise the thermal specification and the architectural design to develop the hardware solution or product

Identify critical development problems and assisting in their resolution

Write timely and technically accurate reports of technical findings

Participate in thermal testing activities and correlating analysis and test results

Validate thermal compliance of systems and components with regards to the Group’s standards

Design and develop effective cooling systems for reliable operations and identify new ideas to improve designs YOUR CAREER AT THALES Future opportunities will allow you to discover other domains or sites.
