Role Summary The People Business Partner (PBP) for Commerical Unit (CU) Mediterranean will provide both strategic and operational HR support across five 5? countries within the Mediterranean Commercial Unit. This role requires an experienced HR professional who can act as a strategic advisor to leadership while also managing hands-on HR operations to drive business success, talent development, and organizational transformation. The PBP will work closely with the CU Head, leadership team, and country commerical managers, ensuring that HR strategies align with business objectives and are effectively implemented. This role will focus on talent management, organizational design, transformation, leadership development, succession planning, employee relations, performance management, compensation & benefits, and learning & development. **Strategic & Business Partnering**
- Act as a trusted advisor to CU Mediterranean leadership, aligning HR strategies with business goals.
- Support organizational design, workforce planning, and talent strategies to ensure business growth and operational efficiency.
- Drive a high-performance culture, ensuring leadership and teams are aligned with commercial and operational priorities.
- Lead change management and transformation initiatives, supporting the business through structural and cultural shifts.
- Provide HR insights and recommendations to country managers and CU leaders on people-related matters. **Operational HR Leadership**
- Oversee end-to-end HR operations, ensuring seamless execution of recruitment, onboarding, talent management, and retention strategies across multiple countries.
- Manage employee relations,
ensuring compliance with local labor laws and employment regulations across the CU Mediterranean markets.
- Partner with local HR service providers and legal advisors to address employment issues and maintain compliance.
- Support managers with performance management, employee engagement, and career development initiatives.
- Own the execution of HR policies, compensation & benefits, learning & development, and succession planning.
- Work closely with Finance teams to track C&B; and labor cost budgets, headcount, and workforce planning. **Talent & Leadership Development**
- Identify and develop high-potential talent, ensuring strong succession pipelines for critical roles.
- Act as a performance coach, helping leaders enhance their teams and drive employee growth.
- Implement learning and development strategies that support capability-building across the CU.
- Lead engagement and retention efforts, ensuring a strong employer brand and a positive workplace culture. **HR Compliance & Risk Management**
- Ensure full compliance with local labor laws and company policies in all CU Mediterranean countries.
- Manage compliance cases and employee relations issues, providing guidance and risk mitigation strategies.Partner with Work Councils and legal entities where applicable to maintain good social relations.**Education**: - A Bachelor’s degree (Human Resources, Industrial Engineer,
Business, Law, Psychology, or another applicable field)
- MBA/master’s degree a plus
- Must have written and verbal fluency in English and Italian **The following experiences are preferred**: - Minimum of 7 years of experience as People Partner
- Experience leading an HR team
- Prior experience in multiple People disciplines such as organizational design and development, change management, performance management, talent management, employee engagement, compensation and benefits design, employee relations and people tools.
- Experience managing a team within HR operations, ensuring effective execution of HR processes and high-quality service delivery
- Experience in chemical or pharmaceutical industries in a multinational environment with manufacturing operations is a plus but not required.
