Lead Payroll Specialist
YOUR IMPACT
This is a Lead payroll position handling start-to-end payroll focusing on Italy and other EMEA country payrolls. Working on payroll projects, regional payroll activities, collaborating with various cross-functional teams, and working on continuous improvement allows you to make an effective impact on regional payroll operations as part of a global payroll team.
WHAT THE ROLE OFFERS
- Responsible for processing start-to-end Italy and other EMEA payrolls and other international payrolls. Handling all payroll input/output from payroll and HR perspectives, ensuring a compliant payroll in line with local legislation.
- Working closely with all stakeholders to ensure payroll data is processed correctly through the payroll and on time. Managing Risk and audits to payroll processing and compliance.
- Acting as an advisor to all stakeholders including benefits, compensation& rewards team, HR Business Partners, and HR Shared Services team, and providing training for those that need to be trained on payroll operations.
- Handling statutory reporting and statistics, managing payroll vendors, and other payroll operations linked vendors.



Running small projects acting as an individual contributor for large payroll projects and supporting all initiatives and activities for process improvements.
- Responsible for ensuring all HR Shared Services activities linked to payroll are smooth. WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED
- Advance start-to-end Italy payroll processing experience. Experience in using payroll systems and changes implementations
- Excellent understanding of payroll compliances and in calculating taxes linked to specific pay elements.
- Experience in working with cross-functional teams linked to payroll operations such as HR Shares services, Benefits, total rewards, finance, Compliance and Risk, and internal and External projects.
- Good experience using various Payroll and HR systems, Experience in Managing outsourced payroll and payroll-linked vendors.
- Knowledgeable on Italiane employment legislation and experience in working with Work Councils, experience in working with various CBAs,
- Excellent communication skills in English and Spanish, Italian Language Skills would be beneficial **ONE LAST THING**:
