Experteer Overview

Join Thales Alenia Space in Rome to support the design, integration, and verification of satellite navigation systems. You will help define test strategies, AIV plans, and verification campaigns, collaborating with the System Navigation team to deliver robust ground and space segment tests. This role blends system engineering, test execution, and customer-facing participation in a high‑tech, cross‑cultural environment. You’ll contribute to mission-critical navigation programs and advance ECSS-aligned verification activities.

- Support System Integration and Verification activities for Navigation Programs
- Contribute to defining the project test strategy and qualification campaign
- Define System Assembly, Integration and Verification Plan (AIV) and Operational Validation Plan
- Prepare Review Verification Matrices in line with ECSS for ESA/EUSPA




- Create System Test Cases for Ground and Space Segments and define compatibility tests
- Support System Test Tools specifications for AIV Plan and Test Cases
- Prepare and define detailed Test Procedures and lead Test Readiness and Test Review Boards
- Conduct test execution planning, data collection, analysis and reporting
- Contribute to Verification Control Document and participate in customer meetings and progress reviews

Responsabilità

- Experience in SW development (C, C++, Linux/Unix, Bash, Python)
- Knowledge of networking concepts (LAN/WAN, IP/UDP/TCP/FTP/SFTP, security architectures, switches, VPNs)
- Background on telecommunications, with focus on satellite navigation systems (plus)
- Eligibility to personal clearance
- Strong teamwork and cross-cultural collaboration skills
