Eli Lilly Italia is seeking a motivated and proactive Maintenance & Reliability Intern to join our Packaging, Device & Logistics area at the Sesto Fiorentino manufacturing site. The internship is six months long and provides hands‑on experience in a highly regulated pharmaceutical environment, supporting the optimization of preventive maintenance activities on production equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Data Collection – gather information on maintenance types and frequencies directly from production systems and on‑site observations.
- Technical Analysis – study and analyze collected data to identify optimization opportunities and propose prioritization criteria for maintenance activities.
- Maintenance Optimization – support the design and implementation of preventive maintenance strategies to improve equipment performance and reliability.
- Cross‑functional Collaboration – work closely with Engineering, HSE, and Operations teams to align activities with safety and quality standards.
- Knowledge Development – acquire an in‑depth understanding of production equipment and maintenance strategies within a GMP‑regulated pharmaceutical setting.
Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Biomedical, Automation) or related field.
- Excellent command of English (spoken and written).
- Strong organizational skills and a proactive mindset.
- Flexibility, problem‑solving attitude, and effective communication skills.
- A team‑oriented approach and willingness to collaborate across functions.
