Org. Setting and Reporting
- The United Nations Global Service Centre (UNGSC) provides critical Supply Chain, Geospatial, Information and Telecommunications Technologies services and Training to all Secretariat Entities, Peacekeeping and Special Political missions, Agencies, Funds and Programmes of the UN system worldwide. This position is located in the Field Central Review Bodies (FCRB) Secretariat and Reference Verification (RV) Unit, at the United Nations Global Service Centre in Brindisi, Italy. The Human Resources Officer will report to the Chief of the Field Central Review Bodies (FCRB) Secretariat and Reference Verification (RV) Unit. The FCRB/RV Unit is part of the Human Resources Services Division Office of Support Operations, Department of Operational Support (DOS).

- Education
- Advanced university degree (Master's degree or equivalent) in public or business administration, human resources, social sciences or related area is required. A first level university degree in combination with additional two years of qualifying experience may be accepted in lieu of an advanced degree.
- Job - Specific Qualification
- Successful completion of both degree and non-degree programs in data analytics,



business analytics or data science programs is desirable.
- Work Experience
- A minimum of five years of progressively responsible experience in human resources, administration or related area is required. Experience in recruitment is required. Experience in the review of recruitment processes or reference verification is desirable. Experience in delivering training programs related to recruitment or reference verification is desirable. Experience related to process improvement projects and related change management procedures is desirable. Experience in data analytics or related area is desirable.
- Languages
- English and French are the working languages of the United Nations Secretariat. For the post advertised, fluency in English (both oral and written) is required. Fluency in French is desirable.
