Junior Accountant (Passive/Active Invoices) - KUBO

We are looking for a Junior Accountant to join our client in Milan on a permanent basis - a well known international fashion company recognised for high‑quality products and its focus on sustainability and circular economy. In this role you will support the Accounting Manager and senior colleagues in the Finance team and gradually take ownership of key accounting activities for selected EU entities.

Key responsibilities

- Managing the day‑to‑day accounting process from journal entries (AP, cash/bank, payroll and other GL entries) through to trial balance.
- Performing monthly and year‑end closings (adjusting entries, depreciation and amortisation, intercompany checks, BS/PL reconciliations).
- Providing all required information and documentation to local consultants/firms so statutory and fiscal deadlines are met (returns, declarations, local GAAP financial statements).
- Providing requested data and documentation for internal/external audits and for the Group finance department.
- Supporting other departments on accounting‑related topics.
- Degree in Economics, Accounting, Finance or a similar field.




- Around 2 years of professional experience in accounting, preferably in an international or structured company.
- Good understanding of basic accounting principles, bookkeeping and accounts payable processes.
- High accuracy, reliability and attention to detail when handling accounting data and documents.
- Good communication skills and ability to cooperate with internal stakeholders and external consultants.
- Good proficiency in Excel;

experience with accounting systems or ERP tools is a plus.

- Fluent in Italian and good command of English.
