- In agreement with FE Director define warranty policies and establish guidelines for claim management and claim handling to be followed by colleagues operating worldwide on the markets
- In agreement with local staff cooperate in communication with customers, providing technical explanations for possible root causes of problems
- Organize benchmarking and product evaluation, also with support of local staff, including evaluation of main competitors,
in order to check their performance and evaluate whether they meet compliance standard
- Organize start-up and periodical update on market tests involving new products and/or prototypes, carried out in cooperation with R&D;
- In coordination with FE Director make claim forecast and statistical analysis, identify critical areas supporting the development of appropriate solutions in agreement with other functions (R&D;, Industrial Quality, Original Equipment, Marketing, Supply Chain)
- Promptly report relevant issues related to product quality coming from the market to involved departments, defining main priorities
- Constantly monitor claim trend and related costs, identifying critical areas and developing appropriate solutions
- Periodical update the claim situation by factory, defining top areas of interventions
- Local claim list validation and central reimbursement to local entities
- Technical training organization for local Field Managers and definition of internal technical documentation
- Organize and hold with local staff claim audit on the markets
- Benchmark activities on product performance and market test assessment
- Define claim forecast
- Define internal processes and tools
- Previous experience in Field Engineering position or in a technical position, preferably in similar context
- Strong communication and customer service skills, since direct interaction with the client is a primary component of the job
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to identify problem root causes, finding and proposing solutions to them
- Appropriate to resolve conflict with a positive outcome for the customers and company
- Ability to manage complexity and work under pressure
- Ability to prioritize tasks depending upon the emergency situations
- Availability to travel abroad whenever needed
- Fluent in English language
- Master degree or bachelor degree in technical/scientific areas is preferable
