regarding the addition of a new indication to the product information of an approved GSK vaccine. **Project description**: A GSK vaccine aimed at preventing an invasive disease in infants and older age groups is licensed in the EU and worldwide. GSK intends to add a new indication based on emerging scientific evidence. The intern selected for this project will support regulatory activities required to finalize regulatory messages to be included in the consultation package. **Why is this research important for GSK**:This project will contribute to the innovative development of a new indication for an already approved vaccine, aligned with GSK's overarching patient health objectives. Conducting this consultation with Health Authorities is a critical step in initiating discussions to protect individuals from a disease impacted by antimicrobial resistance (AMR), for which no vaccines are currently available. **Competencies the intern will develop thanks to the internship experience**:Gain foundational knowledge of vaccine principles. Learn about the multiple approaches for generating evidence to support product information updates in accordance with European regulations. **Requirements for the intern**: Computer literacy. The intern will be hosted within the GSK Regulatory Affairs department based in Siena (IT). They will receive supervision and mentorship from GSK regulatory associates.
