About the Role
- Design and develop industrial systems for the transport, dosing, mixing, and processing of liquids, from concept through detailed engineering.
- Design piping systems, process equipment, supporting structures, and skid-mounted solutions, ensuring compliance with applicable codes and industry standards.
- Develop hygienic and sanitary designs for food, pharmaceutical, and other high-cleanliness applications, considering CIP/SIP requirements, cleanability, and contamination control.
- Perform process and equipment risk assessments, including the safe handling of hazardous, flammable, corrosive, or toxic liquids,
ensuring compliance with relevant safety regulations.
- Design systems with a strong focus on maintainability, accessibility, ergonomics, operator safety, and ease of inspection and maintenance throughout the equipment lifecycle.
- Produce engineering documentation, including P&IDs;, equipment layouts, piping layouts, specifications, and technical documentation.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to integrate process, mechanical, electrical, automation, and safety requirements into complete industrial solutions.
- Support commissioning, start-up, troubleshooting, and optimization of industrial process plants.
What You Need to Be Successful
- Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Hydraulic Engineering, or an equivalent engineering discipline.
- At least 8 years of experience in the design of industrial process plants, with particular focus on systems for the transport, dosing, mixing, and processing of liquids.
- Good knowledge of Autodesk Inventor, AutoCAD Plant and Vault.
- Organized and task-oriented
- Strong focus on innovation and curiosity for innovative solutions
- Available to travel upon request
- Fluent in English
Our Offer
Compensation for this role includes a base salary starting from EUR 45.000, in line with experience. The actual offer may exceed this minimum based on the candidate's qualifications and fit for the role. A range of additional benefits (e.g., insurances, etc.) is also available in accordance with Company policy. The applicable collective agreement is the CCNL Metalmeccanico.
