Experteer Overview

In this role you will provide expert engineering for E2E space systems and Ground Segment subsystems, spanning design to operations. You will define Ground Tools to boost end‑to‑end performance and support secure TTC frameworks. You will perform system‑level analyses and translate goals into concrete component requirements. This position offers work on cutting‑edge telecom and satellite projects within an international team, contributing to mission planning and payload engineering. You will shape technical solutions that enable reliable space missions and demonstrations.

- Contribute to E2E system design and analyses across the full lifecycle of space projects
- Define and validate Ground Tools to enhance end‑to‑end performance (e.g., interference detection, mission planning, signal analysis)
- Perform system/subsystem performance analyses and derive component requirements (e.g., link budget, BER, phase noise)
- Support secure TTC system aspects and SW requirements validation
- Oversee integration, testing, and quality control of RF payload equipment and subsystems




- Engage in procurement activities for antenna and payload components
- Collaborate with international teams and stakeholders to meet project deadlines
- Utilize simulation and design tools to model performance and plan resources
- Prepare clear technical reports and summaries for customers and internal reviews

Responsabilità

- Master in Engineering
- 2‑4 years of RF engineering experience, preferably in the space industry
- Knowledge of payload architecture, RF equipment, repeaters and antennas
- Link budget, capacity assessment, waveform and ModCod understanding (5G, DVB)
- Experience with integration, testing, and quality control
- Knowledge of UHF and L Band technologies; IoT concepts is a plus
- Familiarity with SW design tools (STK, Satsoft, MATLAB); programming knowledge (Java/C) is a plus
- Strong English communication skills
- Autonomous, proactive, and able to work in a diverse international team
- Willingness to travel and work on customer premises (Vigna di Valle) ~50%
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and reporting abilities
