FP&A; Planning & Insights Lead
Location: European HQ in Vimercate (MB).
Responsibilities
- Coordinate preparation and presentation of executive-level reports and financial reviews, synthesizing data from various departments and ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
- Drive the planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes, ensuring consistency and integrity across scenarios and alignment with business goals.
- Act as a key finance partner to business controlling functions, leading ad‑hoc analysis and strategic assessments to support decision‑making.
- Champion continuous improvement and digital transformation initiatives in FP&A; processes, tools, and reporting.
- Mentor junior team members, fostering a collaborative, high‑performance culture within the function.
Qualifications
- 8–10 years of experience in FP&A;, controlling, or finance roles, preferably in a multinational industrial company or consulting firm.
- Proven track record in leading planning cycles and financial reporting processes.
- Solid understanding of financial modeling, business analytics, and performance management.
Technical Skills
- Advanced in Excel and PowerPoint.
- Experience with Power BI, VBA‑programming, or other BI tools.
- Familiarity with Oracle EPM suite (SmartView, Essbase)
strongly preferred.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Access and ThinkCell is a plus.
Soft Skills
- Teamwork oriented, strong leadership and communication skills, ability to influence across functions and senior stakeholders.
- Strategic mindset combined with a hands‑on approach and attention to detail.
- High level of analytical thinking and problem‑solving ability.
- Strong project management skills and capability to drive cross‑functional initiatives.
Employment Type
Permanent contract; full‑time.
Compensation
Minimum gross annual salary: €60,000.
The position includes access to an individual or collective variable incentive scheme based on the achievement of predefined performance objectives (KPIs); alternatively, any additional variable compensation components or benefits will be governed by applicable company policies.
